Dino Learn Cards ("the App") is an educational dinosaur flashcard app designed for children. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and your rights as a user or parent.

1. Information we collect

The App itself does not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) such as names, email addresses, or location data.

The following non-personal data may be collected automatically through third-party advertising services:

• Device identifier (for ad delivery and frequency capping)
• General device information (device type, OS version)
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)

2. Advertising

The App displays ads provided by Google AdMob. We have enabled the following child-safety measures:

• Child-Directed Treatment is enabled — all ad requests are flagged as child-directed under COPPA
• Ad content rating set to "G" — only family-safe ads are shown
• Rewarded video ads are fully opt-in — children are never forced to watch an ad
• No behavioural profiling or interest-based advertising is used

3. Children's privacy (COPPA)

Dino Learn Cards is designed for children under 13 and complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App is configured to serve only child-directed ads through Google AdMob's child-directed treatment setting.

4. Data stored locally

The following data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to our servers:

• Player name (entered optionally by the user)
• Quiz high score and games played count
• Favourite dinosaurs
• Hint coins balance
• Onboarding completion status

This data can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the App.

6. App Tracking Transparency

On iOS 14 and later, the App may request permission to track your device for advertising purposes via Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. You may decline this permission — the App will continue to function normally, and only non-personalised ads will be shown.

7. Data retention

We do not retain any user data on external servers. All locally stored data remains on your device until the App is uninstalled.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
